About us

Complications in Medical Aesthetic Collaborative

Complications in Medical Aesthetic Collaborative (CMAC) is a registered UK charity (No. 1214738) established in 2020 and operating globally.

We exist to maximise safety in clinical practice, with a focus on improved patient treatment outcomes. Our mission is to support regulated healthcare professionals worldwide in preventing, diagnosing, and managing complications in medical aesthetics, with greater clinical independence and confidence.

Guided by the principle ‘E Pluribus Unum’ - out of the many we are one - CMAC unites healthcare professionals working within aesthetic medicine and related clinical fields. Together, we are stronger.

What we stand for

  • Support: A safe, protective learning environment where members can share experience and grow together.
  • Evidence: Empowering our membership to raise standards through evidence-based practice and research.
  • Collaboration: Uniting professionals from across the globe under a shared commitment to clinical excellence.

Membership

CMAC welcomes regulated healthcare professionals, including those registered with the GMC, NMC, GDC, and GPhC (prescribing pharmacists), as well as appropriately qualified international professionals for whom aesthetic medicine falls within their scope of practice.

Members gain access to educational webinars, clinical protocols, peer networking, conferences, and a growing library of evidence-based resources - all designed to develop knowledge and elevate standards across the profession.
